By now you have heard that Skrillex is starting his own label (OWSLA) which will be an outlet for emerging artists in the electro/house/dubstep genres. According to CBS News…
Taken from the children’s fantasy novel “Watership Down,” OWSLA is billed as a music label and a production company. The production side of things will be run by Skrillex manager Tim Smith, publicist Clayton Blaha and Biz 3 Publicity owner Kathryn Frazier.
The label already has releases lined up coming from the likes of post-dubstep producer Koan Sound, Porter Robinson in the electro-house genre, singer/songwriter Alvin Risk and progressive-house team M Machine.
It has only been a year since Skrillex emerged onto the electronic music scene and in that short time he has quickly become one of the most talented and adored artists in the world.
