We were however pleasantly surprised at the rawness and depth that Illa gives this 11 chapter story.

Unauthorized Biography is the story of Cam G, a man who is trying his best to do the right thing for himself & his family but is trapped by the trap. Through 11 chapters we dive deep into his mind in search for understanding. Seeking the driving force of a man who’s back is against the wall due to the society he was born in. First, NBC is making a huge mistake by bouncing Community. It may never air again, which makes me very sad. Well one great thing about Community is it led me to Donald Glover a.k.a. Childish Gambino.

When I first started watching Community I also went out and picked up the Free-EP’s that Childish Gambino had released. I like to think I’m ahead of the curve, when really I have no idea.

The debut album from Childish was released today. Camp is a view into the brilliant mind that is Donald Glover and has blown me out of the water. It is my favourite album that was released today, which says a lot based on the albums that were released today.

I don’t need to say a lot about the material, it speaks for itself. Check out three of my favourite tracks from Camp below. Go buy this album now, you will not regret it, I promise.

Pre-Order Mike Posner’s New Free Mixtape – November 20th

Now this is something I have never seen before.

Mike Posner has a new mixtape dropping on November 20th entitled The Layover which is rumoured to be filled to the brim with collaborations. Well you can now pre-order the free mixtape.

All you need to do is submit your email, date of birth and the country you live in and when the mixtape drops you will receive an email with the tape. It’s a great idea and I have already pre-ordered mine.

This is always the best way to go about letting people hear your music. By putting in on NPR, Donald Glover acknowledges that people are going to listen to the album before it drops, but at least this way he has a little control over it.

Ok so I’m a few days late on this but better late than never right? I picked up the I Love Life, Thank You mixtape a couple days ago when it dropped and forgot to add it to iTunes until today. On the first listen I came across his Love Lost track which Mac lays a verse over a Temper Trap sample.

If you’re a long time Ambassador Beats reader you’ll remember how I used to post any and ever remix that featured The Temper Trap. I love their Conditions album and still listen to it regularly, so when I came across Mac Millers version I have high expectations.

Thankfully Mac does the track justice and has now successfully pumped me up even more for Blue Slide Park.

I’m surprised more people haven’t sampled Boston by Augustana. The opening piano line is amazing and The Two Friends have taken that opening and flipped it into a great beat for Don’t Go.

Matt Clarke and KAM Royal both have great verses on this track and it will sure have people asking for more. I’m excited to see what else comes out of the Blackbook Music Group camp as this song is amazing.

I’ve posted about Sif.Like.Piff before and yesterday he dropped a brand new video for his track High All Day. This track comes from the Musical Fix 3 Mixtape and features a verse from Gwap. The beat is hot, the verses are tight, and the visuals are great. Check out this video and look into Sif.Like.Piff, you’ll be blown away.

It’s been a minute since we got some new material from Illa Scorsese but the wait is finally over. He has been hitting the studio hard lacing beats with his signature smooth flow and Lonely Road is his latest single.

This Mitchy Luv produced track features Garnett Boldin and as the intro tells you, we are in for a special treat. It’s off Unauthorized Biography (of Cam G) which we should expect  to drop at the end of next month.

XV Samples Skrillex For Boss Level

It’s really starting to look like we were on to something when we brought you the Illa Scorsese Dubstep album, because more and more rappers are expanding into the genre.

The latest is XV who goes in on one of Skrillex’s biggest tunes. The chorus isn’t great but the verses shine. The song is called Boss Level and we’d love to hear what you think.

I think the hook on this song says it best about whats been going on with me lately. I do feel like I’ve been gone for a little too long, but its not by choice. My internet provider has been shitting the bed recently and have really been letting me down. But for some reason the internet is working for me tonight so I’m taking advantage of it while I can.

On and On is the latest track to be released off Mac Millers up coming November 8th album Blue Slide Park. It features Teressa LaGamba on the chorus and the track sounds great. Mac’s raps are tight and his punchlines are getting better and better.

Dopest Mother F*cker Since Before I Hit The 7th Grade

Mac Miller has dropped the video for Smile Back, his second single off his upcoming debut album Blue Slide Park. Song is sick, video is sick, but I was worried. Mac Miller has a tendency to mix his best friends in the video. I made it through the entire video without seeing the white kid with long hair and I was worried that Mac Miller has cut his friends out of the video. Then the guys take their masks off and there he is, peace is restored in the world. Enjoy.

New Music Video From XV – When We’re Done

We’ve brought you some XV tunes in the past, intact I still regularly listen to his song Foreign Exchange Student which samples Miami Horror. He has released a mixtape since then and just dropped a new video for When We’re Done which is a song off his Zero’s Heroes mixtape. The song is great and I expect great things in the next few months for XV. Enjoy

Another New Azad Right Song – Stained

We’ve got another brand new Azad Right song for you today. Stained is the 3rd and final single to be released before The Time Is Right is released September 21st. If you like what you’ve been hearing, be sure to come back Wednesday because we will have the download link for you.

Azad enlisted The Bridge to be featured on this Jonathan Marquez produced track. Those three have put together quite the song. Its a darker rap track but I really like it. I’m excited to see how it works with the rest of the mixtape.

The three singles have shown completely different sides of Azad Right and we are definitely in for something special.
