Avicii- Live in DC + New Track

26 Nov

Speaking of Avicii… the guys over at were nice enough to post his 3 hour set from DC Armory. I rarely listen to sets let alone post them but this is worth a listen just for the opening track. A new unidentified and unreleased hit starts off the set and the Justice sample is impeccable.

Give it a listen and head over to for the full track list.

Electric Chapel – Lady Gaga (Two Door Cinema Club Remix)

23 Nov

First off, I respect the talent that Lady Gaga possesses. It’s not easy to pump out number 1 singles, but I absolutely hate what she stands for. The whole “born this way” gag is such a load of shit. You were born with face implants and having to wear giant costumes for every day life?

Anyways, I bring you a new remix of Electric Chapel simply for the fact that Two Door Cinema Club are one of my favourite bands and I feel obligated to post this. They actually make this song listenable and I am semi interested in seeing what else this Remix album has in store.

Check out Electric Chapel the Two Door Cinema Club remix below.

Give It Away (Psymbionic Remix) – Red Hot Chili Peppers

11 Nov

Got something new for you today as Psymbionic has thrown a new twist on a classic Red Hot Chili Peppers tune.

This track comes off Psymbionics new Illusions EP which is supposed to be released on December 13th by Made In Glitch.

Psymbionic throws a drumstep beat and some glitches to mix this track up. I really like what he has done here and can’t wait to see what else is on the EP. You can stream the track below and download the song as well as the instrumental of the track on Psymbionic’s Bandcamp page.

My First Crush Burns The Clouds – DJ Stroke

11 Nov

My apologies, I had planned to bring this to you last night but completely forgot when I got home from work and never got back to my computer.

This is another great mashup from DJ Stroke, but would you expect anything less? This tune features aspects from Feed Me, Nero, Newton, Skrillex and Kaskade. Now my knowledge on these artists is slightly lacking so I wouldn’t be able to tell you which artists add which part to the song, but I’m sure The Conductor would be able to and he will love this track.

Check out the stream and download link below. Download it while you still can.

Kings of Pop Punk – The Fresh Clothing Mixtape

8 Nov

Back in January, we brought you the Fresh Clothing Winter Mixtape that was jam packed with great bands and great tunes. It exposed me to the song Something Personal by Bright and Early that has stayed in my weekly rotation for going on eleven months now.

Well last week Fresh Clothing released another free mixtape. Kings of Pop Punk Mixtape features The Wonder Years, Title Fight and Transit just to name a few. This mixtape might have a better track list than the Winter tape which I loved so much.

You can stream the mixtape below as well you can download it for free. Enjoy and discover some new pop punk band.

Rusko – Everyday (Netsky VIP Remix)

28 Oct

This track comes off the forthcoming 15 Years of Hospital Records which is set to drop November 28th. The album is said to fully cover the past, present and future of Hospital Records with a variety of remixes and original material. I’m excited to see what this album has to offer, and if it is anything like this track, we are in for a treat.

Kanye West & Jay-Z vs. Benny Benassi

8 Sep

Do you remember the Ambassador Beats webisodes? If you do you might remember one particular week where I asked The Conductor what Dirty Dutch was. I’m pretty sure he explained it and I pretended to get it, but I really still have no idea what it is.

Well The Music Ninja just posted a Dutch mashup done by Chuckie, who I have heard The Conductor talk about before as well. I am extremely out of my element and normally wouldn’t even take the time to listen to this, but because it was a Kanye West and Jay-Z mix I felt obligated.

Let me be the first to tell you that this song ROCKS. It takes the chorus from Niggas In Paris off Watch The Throne and Satisfaction by Benny Benassi. Chuckie mixes and mashes them together into something completely different. Listen to the track below and download it if you love it as much as I do.

New Friendly Giant Mashup – Forgot About Space Junk

5 Sep

It’s almost like I am starting to become psychic because a couple days ago I was in the mood for mashups and was wondering why we hadn’t received anything from The Friendly Giant in a while.

Then this morning I got an email with a brand new mashup that mixes the classic Dr Dre and Eminem song Forgot About Drew with the Overwerk remix of Wolfgang Gartner’s Space Junk. It’s a pretty standard A meets B mashup but its done perfectly and will have everyone bouncing.

My girlfriend who usually HATES mashups was even rapping to this song this morning, so that must mean that it is amazing. Anyways check it out below.

BRKFST Radio Episode 1: Elie’s Kitchen

3 Sep

This is apparently new Xaphoon Jones stuff but I really don’t know anything about it. Xaphoon retweeted something from @adamitkoff saying that this is an exclusive BRKFST Radio Episode 1. Other than that all I really know is that there is 69 minutes of music that has been mashed up and mixed together and it sounds outstanding.

You need to download this for yourself to really understand the greatness. Stream and download BRKFST Radio Episode 1 Elie’s Kitchen below and find out what it is for yourself.

Two New DJ Stroke Mashups

26 Aug

Well we have a treat for you today, two new DJ Stroke Mashups. The reason there are two is because I’ve been crazy busy this past week and a half and completely missed their releases.

If you don’t remember, DJ Stroke was set to release a full dubstep mashup mixtape but he also got busy and decided to just drop tracks one at a time. If you like what you hear you should keep your ears open because DJ Stroke is headed out on a college tour this fall.

If you go to college in the upper US and would like to see DJ Stroke do his thing, shoot him an email at and get something set up, until then enjoy the two new songs.

DOSVEC Diff Dubstep Mashup Mix Album

23 Aug

We’ve got something very special for you today. DOSVEC has really taken this mashup album to the next level. I was originally amazed when I was listening to the sound cloud link of this album, and then I checked out the video clip and was literally rendered speechless. I can definitely see why this took 6 months to put together.

DOSVEC has taken mainstream radio hits and mashed them together which in itself sounds awesome, but by adding heavy dubstep beats on top of that it takes the album to a whole new level. There are 18 of the hottest songs of the last year featured on this album and each one is mashed together perfectly.

But on top of the astounding mashups, DOSVEC has one gone step further to include a mashup video which takes the music videos for all of these songs and adds the perfect visual element to accompany the audio. DOSVEC’s goal was to stimulate both the ears and the eyes of the viewer, and I can easily say he has done that.

Check out the video below and hit the jump for the track listing and download link.

20 Aug

The summer is flying by and as September approaches we should all take a look back at the essential tunes of SUMMER 2011.

Several tracks stick out for me including Dezza- Hefty, SHM- Save The World and Avicii’s MASSIVE summer anthem ‘Fade Into Darkness’. But my front runner for biggest summer tune still goes to Kid Massive for his brilliant masterpiece that is ‘A Little Louder’ ft. Peyton.

The single is off his upcoming album and will no doubt make some big waves in the international EDM scene. While we wait for that to drop throw on his 1 hour mix and stay tuned for full Kid Massive coverage!

Stroked! A Tribute To Is This It

26 Jul

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t the first to The Strokes party, I actually didn’t come to appreciate Is This It till years after it was released. Also I feel anyone who wears the vintage Strokes t-shirt may be a douche bag.

Anyways… we’re coming up on the 10 year anniversary of the release of Is This It, and Stereogum has thrown together a tribute to the album which features 11 artists that each tackle a track and add their own person spin to it.

Owen Pallett gives an amazing rendition of Hard To Explain, the only track you’ll recognize if you aren’t familiar with The Strokes. But you should download it for Heems cover of New York City Cops.
